i was writing my blog when it hit me, why dont we have a chat room feature? i think it would be great for all of us to be able to chat with one another instead of writing emails and stuff. what do you guys think?

Mary, there are more server issues to chat rooms than you can imagine. I think the work required to keep a chatroom on this site would be too much. I think chat rooms here or on any blog service would take away from the blogs.

Oh and I might ad, at tblog we also had a community message board but that got canned to because of spam and misuse.

hi! at tBlog we have a tblurt where we can chat on the main page. However, there were some serious issues with it and lots of spam. When this place was developed, this feature was removed from the plan. One of the issues I find hard to deal with is the email system to answer messages. This breaks the blog conversation up on a blog. I wish that comments to comments were allowed in the blogs, then it would be like a chat on your blog post. I hope they put this feature in, it would save many of us so much time and make our blogs look more interesting with ongoing conversations.

i have to agree that, I'd get behind that idea. I don't want to add to the work they do. but , i also write alot of messages to people. i dont know how hard it would be to write in a chat feature. but it would be nice.

lol that would totally come in handy I think I write close to 100 emails daily to people on here lol
